Sony Ericsson announced new phone on January 8, 2009 the C510 Cyber-shot™ phone.
The Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot portfolio has sold 32 million phones worldwide. The new C510 Cyber-shot is the most affordable yet and introduces new Smile Shutter™ technology. The new W508 and W715 are both Walkman phones, with the W715 an exclusive to Vodafone.

The C510 Cyber-shot is a HSDPA phone is decide to provide an affordable mobile camera experience, featuring a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, Smile Shutter, Face Detection, auto-rotation, Photo Fix, HP Snapfish and YouTube™.
Smile Shutter technology detects a person's smile immediately taking the photo and Face Detection can focus on up to three faces at one time.

The C510 also includes a 320x240 pixel 262K TFT QVGA display, 100MB internal memory and extendable external memory using Memory Stick Micro™.
